A lawsuit was filed on April 11, 2022, in the US District Court of Arizona against former SEC employees, Walter Joseph Clayton and William Hinman, for allegations of tortious interference with the business expectancy of all XRPL Network Users by improperly targeting the XRP Ledger Network to improperly benefit their former clients from private practice before joining the SEC. The 4/11/22 lawsuit was voluntarily withdrawn on April 15, 2022, to be refiled at a later date pending conclusion of SEC v. Ripple Labs, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-10832 (S.D.N.Y.).
The proposed class consists of any XRPL Network User who transacted in XRP from the creation of the XRP Ledger through April 8, 2022.
